Everything we love about Overwatch liquid – such as outstanding ryegrass control, up to 12-week residual control, the unique group 13 herbicide, broad-spectrum activity and outstanding agronomic flexibility- is now available in Overwatch eXL Granules.
The new water-dispersible granule (WG) is a 750g/kg loading of Bixlozone, available in 20kg bags.
Tip: The rate conversion from the 1.25L/ha rate of the liquid is now 670g/ha of the new granule.
What Are The Key Features Of Overwatch eXL Granules?
- Active Ingredient: The active constituent in Overwatch® eXL Granules is 750g/L of Bixlozone, trademarked as Isoflex™ active. This Group 13 mode of action herbicide is unique in the Australian broadacre market.
- Formulation: Overwatch® eXL Granules are formulated as water-dispersible granules (WG), ensuring easy application and effective weed control.
- Residual Control: The granules provide up to 12 weeks of residual control, targeting annual ryegrass, bifora, sow thistle, wireweed, lesser loosestrife, and silvergrass.
- Rate: 670g/ha
What Are The Benefits Of Overwatch eXL Granules?
- Effective Against Resistant Weeds: Overwatch® eXL Granules are particularly effective against annual ryegrass biotypes resistant to other herbicide modes of action.
- Visual Confirmation: As a light-activated herbicide, Overwatch® eXL Granules bleach weeds upon activation, providing visual confirmation of application.
- Crop Safety and Flexibility: The product offers good crop safety and operational flexibility, with a nil re-cropping interval for wheat, barley, canola, faba beans, and field peas.
Applications:
Overwatch® eXL Granules are registered for use in various crops, including wheat (including durum), barley, canola, faba beans, and field peas. The product is compatible with a wide range of existing herbicides, enhancing its weed control capabilities.
Application Tips:
- Check compatibility – Overwatch eXL has been tested and is physically compatible in a two-way mix with most commonly used crop establishment herbicides and insecticides; however, do not mix with K salt glyphosates* as they are incompatible.
*Crucial 600 from Nufarm is compatible. - Take your time and be patient – over-filtering can cause spray line blockages. Therefore, do not use finer than 50 mesh filters, and add one product at a time when filling, and add to water not neat.
