Are you familiar with Sipcam’s Amino Boss range? It’s worth checking out. Currently, there is no regulation over liquid fertiliser or trace element products in Australia. And as a result, many ‘snake oils’ are making their way into the market with no way for you to discern the quality of the product you’re buying. Fortunately, there is a company you can trust. Sipcam, a respected and successful manufacturer in the crop protection industry, has now raised the bar in crop nutrition. They have invested thoroughly in the nutrition space and have given us two ranges: Xtreme (granular EDTA) and Amino Boss (liquid Amino chelates). In this article, we’ll give you an insight into why the Amino Boss range is top-notch when it comes to liquid fertiliser.

Exclusively available from Sipcam, Amino Boss liquid fertilisers are scientifically formulated and contain 19 different amino acids that create strong bidentate (2 bond) chelates with micronutrients. This unique chelation protects the micronutrients and alters the way plants recognise them. The amino acid chelates are absorbed through the plant’s protein channels, leading to more efficient uptake than sulphates and fulvic acid complexes. Additionally, the chelated form of Amino Boss improves compatibility with crop protection products.
Sipcam offers a wide range of trace elements in the Amino Boss range, including Boron, Copper, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Zinc, and multiple blends.
Blends like Amino Boss ZMC 351, ZMC 531, and Amino Boss Lentil are unique to Sipcam. They are backed by extensive trial work and practical experience in the paddock, instilling confidence in their effectiveness.

Let’s check out two of their blends:
Amino Boss ZMC is a zinc, manganese and copper nutrition deficiency corrector for all crops. It can be used in a preventive program or at the onset of symptoms. Amino Boss ZMC comes in 351 and 531 and are unique formulations of ZMC amino acid chelate solution containing the complete range of amino acids to assist in chelation and plant uptake. Recommended for foliar applications where excellent plant uptake and good compatibility is required, Amino Boss 351 contains 30 g/L Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, 50 g/L Manganese Amino Acid Chelate and 10 g/L Copper Amino Acid Chelate. Amino Boss 531 contains 50 g/L Zinc Amino Acid Chelate, 30 g/L Manganese Amino Acid Chelate and 10 g/L Copper Amino Acid Chelate.

Note: Don’t be fooled by look-alikes or cheap fakes. The Amino Boss range is unique to Sipcam, which has decades of experience supporting its entire nutrition range.
Amino Boss Lentil Blend is a new, powerful addition for lentil growers. The Lentil Blend is designed to optimise nodulation and biomass production and increase yield and quality in lentils. It is designed to enhance the growth and health of lentils and also other pulses, making it a great fit for our areas. The blend contains important trace elements such as Zinc, Manganese, Copper, Molybdenum, Iron, Boron and Cobalt, all of which are crucial for the healthy growth of pulse crops. With an application rate of 2 to 5L/ha, it’s a cost-effective solution for improving your crop yield and quality.
Application timing has a big window from 4-5 node stage through to flowering and has great compatibility with commonly applied pulse herbicides, fungicides and insecticides. However, we recommend checking with our Agro’s for any tank mixes before you rush out.

If the Amino Boss Lentil blend piques your interest, we encourage you to get in touch with us and try it in your crop this season. We’re confident you’ll be impressed with the results.
P.S.
Sipcam also offers EDTA chelate granule products under its Xtreme range, the most compatible chelate form available. You may have seen these in-store already, with products such as Xtreme Zinc, Xtreme Copper, or Xtreme ZMC in 15kg bags.
