What is it?
Radial is a broad-spectrum foliar fungicide that controls various diseases in wheat and barley crops. It’s a unique mix of 75g/L of Epoxiconazole and 75g/L of azoxystrobin in a highly effective EC formulation optimised for our Aussie conditions and diseases. It’s an efficient combination option, plus it boasts excellent crop safety, as seen in extensive testing across multiple situations and varieties and is highly compatible.
What does it control:
Wheat:
Leaf Rust, Yellow Spot, Septoria Nodorum Blotch, Septoria Tritici Blotch, Stem Rust, Stripe Rust and Powdery Mildew: 420 to 840 mL/ha.
Barley:
Leaf Rust, Leaf Scald, Spot Form of Net Blotch, Net Form of Net Blotch and Powdery Mildew: 420 to 840 mL/ha.
What does this mean for me?
When Radial is applied prior to disease infection, azoxystrobin provides excellent protection and long residual activity with up to 6 weeks of control in cereals. Applications made over cereal crops during the flag lead and head emergence stages of growth can provide significant green leaf area retention that would contribute to increased yields. Curative activity against early infection is seen however optimum results occur when application occurs prior to infection.
